Busy weekends…..

This past week has been so busy it feels like we have been going non stop. On Friday we got our new wood floors in and they look amazing. On Saturday morning I got up and while Angie went and sold dome things at a yard sale, I rode my bike out to Henefer. The weather was pleasant but I didn’t have enough food and that made for a tough ride home.

Once I got home and recovered for a bit I got working on putting the house back together. The floors look amazing and really motivate us to get the house looking better. I got up early on Sunday morning and took Liam to the park, then mowed the lawn and went to a baby shower for Haylee. I was extremely wiped out so I couldn’t do much more in the way of work.

I was also able to sneak out for a ride up to Temple quarry on Sunday morning, it was an extremely technical ride but fun and in the shade. Lots to do in the next week before memorial day weekend. The carpets come in this Friday so all week we will be moving stuff.

Mother’s day and the Goldilocks ride

image

Saturday was such a fun day as Angie and her friends got together and did the Goldilocks ride. It was a long day as we got up at 6am and drove with Alexa to the start. The ladies were off at 8am and I brought my bike along and rode the course and fixed flats for the ladies. I also got a good workout by pushing Angie up the hills. I ended up riding 95 miles and getting done right before the finish.

it was an all day event and we didn’t get home until around 5pm. I am so proud of Angie for completing such a long ride and braving the wind, rain and hills.  She has so much heart! After we got home I chilled out for a bit and watched some TV then we went out for dinner at Goodwood barbecue, such a delicious place. I was so wiped out on Sunday that I slept most of the day. I did manage to mow the lawn and clean my bikes as well as visit my mom for mothers day.

Happy 38th birthday Angela!

Last night was Angelas birthday. I woke up and made breakfast for her then we spent the evening shopping at REI and finding a new phone for her. She was so excited after years of having such a bad phone. After that we went to dinner at Tsunami restaurant then came home so she could play with her new phone.
